SAMSAT CAMP: Robotics: Sea Perch! [7th-12th grade]

Get hands-on experience operating robots. Then go and build a robot! Learn to program robots and build complex circuitry.
About this Event

Join us for a half-day camp at SAMSAT, The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology.

In Robotics: Sea Perch!, campers will build a miniture aquatic ROV (remote operated vehicle) and take it for a swim! Campers will learn how to:

• follow workplace safety standards
• soulder wires to a circuit board
• cut PVC pipe
• operate a power drill
• complete overall robot assembly.

The camp sessions will be held at the SAMSAT History Center (102 Mabry Dr., San Antonio, TX 78226). (NEW LOCATION. Address updated from previously stated location)

Must be a rising 7th-12th grader.

A snack will be provided, but please remember to bring your own water bottle.

Camp hours: 12:15 PM – 3 PM, Monday through Friday.

Early drop-off, up to 30 minutes before the start time, is permitted.
