The Seiileafi Fire Knife Hong Kong aims to share the culture a fire knife carries. Its roots originate from Samoa, being a war dance originally. The speedy movement of the knives on fire serve to protect the people of their ancestors’ lands a long time ago. In these modern times where land ownership had been settled, it emerges as a sport which requires discipline, respect and passion if to be pursued. Its unique art gets solid through practice but one way to get that established is to start training the right way. The Fa’asamoan way of life speaks of respect, honor and tradition which is infused in every basic move our workshops offer. Fire Knife Dancing is a big part of the Samoan culture. It embodies all these virtues while it represents blessed physical strength and expression.
