Funoon is thrilled to welcome Sammy Obeid to our stage-- the renowned Palestinian-American comedian has been featured on America's Got Talent, Conan, and Last Comic Standing. Obeid's comedy was described in The New York Times as displaying "an analytic style full of wordplay, clever misdirection and ethnic humor riffing on his Middle Eastern roots". He once set a world record for performing 1,001 nights of comedy in a row, a feat you will have the opportunity to ask him about during the pre-show meet and greet!

Syrian-American, Chicago-based comedian Zaid Fouzi will also be bringing his enigmatic energy to the stage. Known for his storytelling, social commentary, and observational humor; Fouzi performs all over the country and made his international debut at the 1,001 Laughs Palestine Comedy Festival this past August.

Funoon is also excited to open the stage for up-and-coming comedians Hanan Issa and Sami Tamimi to join this exciting lineup.

Doors will open at 6pm with an hour of socializing to give you the chance to talk to the comedians, explore the arts, crafts - get your cocktails, get your mocktails, and connect with the community at Funoon.
