We at the Skachester Music Extravagana are excited to welcome the self-proclaimed Andy Kauffman of folk-punk, the one and only, Sammy Kay for a special April 1 performance right here in Rochester, NY!!Sammy Kay, New Jersey's other favorite sun, brings his amazing folk-punk/americana to Johnny's Irish Pub for one-night-only show! You may recognize him from his huge discography as a solo artist or for his involvement in such groups as the East Los 3, and/or the Kilograms (which featured members/ex-members of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Avoid One Thing, Newport Secret Six, Bouncing Souls, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts).
Appearing with Sammy are local heroes Katie Alessandra (of local ska/punk juggernauts Turkey Blaster Omega) and Bradley Freedman (of local party punks Kids In the Basement)
This special event features no-cover/pay what you can when the hat gets passed around.
