About this Event

Sammy Brue - A 21st-century troubadour who spins layered story songs that deal with the sunlight and shadows of the human condition, Sammy Brue follows in the authentic outlaw songwriter lineage of Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Rodney Crowell, and Justin Townes Earle. Brue's new album, The Journals, pays tribute to his mentor by writing, finishing, or re-imagining never-before-recorded songs taken directly from Earle’s journals, entrusted to Sammy by Justin’s widow. Some of the songs on the album are based on lyric sheets Brue found. Others are co-writes or songs Brue wrote based on compilations of ideas and little paragraphs Earle wrote. Sammy Brue showcases his lyrical ingenuity, his musical versatility, his innovative songwriting style, and his ringing vocal style on his new album. Like a poet, he commands attention with a vibrant opening chord and a vivid lyric; Brue pulls listeners into his story world, and they’re transfixed by his sometimes playful, always perceptive readings of the human heart. Fans of Justin Towne Earle will be grateful to Brue for this lovingly crafted album and will become more familiar again with a singer and songwriter dedicated to bringing the beauty of folk to the world.

Sammy first came on the radar of Rolling Stone Magazine at the age of 13. Recognized for his songwriting, Sammy started making waves in the Americana scene and was signed to New West Records for 2 studio records "I Am Nice" and "Crash Test Kid" and independently released his latest album "Nocturnal Country" Sammy started touring and making friends with some of the biggest names around. Starting with a full national tour with his friend and mentor Justin Townes Earle, to touring internationally with The Marcus King Band, Sammy graced stages all around the world by the age of 18. Rooted firmly in his folk style of writing, Sammy was named one of six teenagers changing music by the New Yorker Magazine. he has defined himself as being a working musician and songwriter at his core.

Clayton Ryan - Minnesota's Clayton Ryan is made of a different soil.

His music isn't available on streaming services. His albums are entirely crowd-funded, with zero use of kickstarter sites. He has built a career of songwriting in both Los Angeles and Nashville, despite spending the majority of his life in the rustic heartland of America.

His debut album Ghost Town features soul-country anthems like the title track and "Wild Man," while the power funk of "Mountain Time" and heartbreaking ballad "No Return To Sender" show the versatility beyond country music. His 2025 single Swishers retains his twangy voice and small-town songwriting while dressing it in shimmery gothic rock and edgy punk clothing. His upcoming release Gas Station Social Club is a love letter to the Midwest, with 80's soul and heartland rock style adorning the self-produced LP.

Clayton Ryan is a working musician before a singer with a guitar.

As a writer, multi-instrumentalist, and performer, he has shared stages with artists like Flatland Cavalry, John Morgan, Collin Raye, Cristina Vane, Jo Dee Messina, Liam St John, and Evan Honer. His songs have been heard in NASCAR, NFL Sunday Night Football, The Outdoor Channel, and WWE, with many more placements in cable and streaming.

Above all, Clayton Ryan is as transparent and honest as you will get in an independent musician, with his slow and steady career fully on display in the documentary , available on his YouTube channel for free.

Ryan LittleEagle - Ryan LittleEagle is an Indigenous singer-songwriter, musician, and storyteller whose music blends Lakota heritage with Country and Americana traditions. Rooted in Native American culture and shaped by rural America, his songs weave ancestral memory, modern life, and timeless storytelling—honoring the past while speaking directly to the present.

Originally from Canyon Lake, Texas, and now based in Three Forks, Montana, LittleEagle draws inspiration from wide skies, small towns, and working lands across the country. His music reflects the values he calls the small-town dream: hard work, honesty, resilience, and a deep connection to place. Influenced by artists such as Jason Isbell, George Strait, Randy Travis, and Ian Munsick, he blends classic Country and Americana songwriting with Native American rhythms, melodies, and perspectives.

Storytelling sits at the heart of Ryan LittleEagle’s work. His songs explore themes of identity, family, heritage, love, loss, and survival, offering listeners an authentic and deeply human experience. With over 17 years on the road, hundreds of performances across the United States, and five studio albums released—including Native Americana—LittleEagle continues to bridge tradition and modern expression. Through his music, he invites listeners to slow down, listen closely, and reconnect with heritage, community, and home.
