For this SPECIAL EDITION of SAMLIT – our local literary conversation society at Comparative Literature – has teamed up with students from the international Erasmus Mundus program Children’s Literature, Media and Cultural Entrepreneurship to curate conversations about a very topical theme:
A discussion on the effects of book bans, censorship, and content modifications in (children's) literature, focusing on the voices and perspectives that may be lost in the process and in current debates.
The event will include short presentations on the theme, creative contributions and opportunity to have informal conversation about this topic across programs, cultures and nationalities.
Everyone is welcome! There will be free snacks, coffee and tea and you can buy other beverages.
