Join us for Edinburgh’s immersive Samhuinn Fire Festival 2024 for a night of magnificent fire-play and acrobatics, amidst a cavalcade of otherworld creatures as we bring in the changing of seasons in Edinburgh and witness the epic battle between Summer and Winter.
Samhuinn Fire Festival is a cultural staple of Edinburgh, inspired by the Celtic tales of the turning of the wheel. Witness the epic battle between the Summer and Winter Kings unfold as the Cailleach prepares for transition into winter.

🔥Thursday 31st October. Gates will open at 6:45pm. The event will start at 7 PM and finish roughly around 10 PM.

🔥Holyrood Park, entering from Horse Wynd.
🔥Please note, performers will enter from both sides of the park, so it is up to you whether you choose to follow the Winter or Summer forces, or move around to get a mixture of both.
