Join us for a whole day walking the ancient *Tinners Way*, journeying from *Men-an-Tol towards St Just* through the wild and beautiful landscape of West Cornwall.
Along the way we will pass many *ancient sacred sites, stone circles, standing stones and burial chambers*, walking in the footsteps of those who have travelled and lived upon this land for thousands of years.
Samhain is traditionally a time when the veil between the worlds is thin, a time to *remember and honour our ancestors and those we have loved who have died*. We will carry them with us as we walk, stopping at different places along the way to *make offerings, sing, share simple ceremonies and remember*.
We will share *ceremonial cacao and homemade energy balls* along the way, and aim to arrive in St Just before sunset. Lifts will be arranged afterwards to take drivers back to their cars at Men-an-Tol.
Contribution: £30, including cacao and energy balls.
In truth, I would love to offer this day freely, as it comes very much from my heart and is how I want to spend Samhain. Since our son Joseph died, however, my income has been much lower and I also have considerable responsibility for supporting my grandchildren, so I need to ask for a contribution for the day.
At the same time, I really want this to be *open to everyone who feels the call*. If £30 isn't affordable, please let me know and offer what you can. And if you are in a position to give a little more and help support someone else's place, that would be deeply appreciated.
Weather permitting
