Join us to turn the wheel of the year once again as we gather to celebrate Samhain. Samhain is our third harvest festival (meat) and is a festival of the Dead. Samhain means"Summer's End" and is pronounced saah-win or saa-ween. Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest and the start of the coldest half of the year. For many practitioners, it is the beginning of the spiritual new year. Many celebrate Samhain over the course of several days and nights, and may include solo rites, ceremonies, feasts, and gatherings with family, friends, and spiritual community. In the northern hemisphere, many Pagans celebrate Samhain from sundown on October 31 through November 1. Others hold Samhain celebrations on the astronomical midpoint between the Fall Equinox and the Winter Solstice. The doors will open at 5:15 pm, and our ritual will commence promptly at 5:45 pm. At that time, the doors will be closed to entry, so please be on time. There will be a feast after the ritual, and you are welcome to join us. If you would like to bring something to share for the Feast, you can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0B4EA9AF28A2FE3-57574355-samhain
