🌿Join us at Bentley Urban Farm as we mark the end of the harvest season with a Samhain fire and craft with foraged materials.We'll be....
• Using foraged foliage to create an emblem to be used to support us in the turning of the seasons.
• Exploring the historical importance of celebrating the seasons in the UK, and how we can reconnect with these traditions.
• Sharing folklore's of craft, plants and the herbs we work with through story or song.
• Having some cuppas of fresh herbal tea and chatting about the benefits of the herbs we use.
What's this 'Samhain' about?...
In a time before 31st October was all trick-or- treating and Tescos fangs sweets, this maked the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. Traditionally celebrated on October 31st to November 1st, it's a time of mystery and remembrance - it's a time we mark the end of the harvest season as we head into the darker months.
Is there a cost to this herbal sorcery then?!...
Suggested donation for this workshop is £10-£20, all money raised will go to supporting Bentley Urban Farm, an upcycled market garden’ , ran by volunteers with the aim to give better access to freshly grown food to the local community.
Donations can be paid with cash on the day or via bank transfer

Just yourself, some outdoor friendly clothing depending on the weather.
Accessibility:
We plan to hold this workshop outside at the Farm, we have various seating options including some comfy sofas and lying down matts for those needing it. Please get in contact for more information about access.
