Samhain Family Altar Make-and-Take Workshop
About this Event
Samhain Family Altar Make-and-Take Workshop at MoonRoot
Samhain is a time of remembrance, reflection, and honoring those who came before us.
Join Jessie Laing’s Spiritual Arts at MoonRoot for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create a personal family altar dedicated to the loved ones you wish to remember, celebrate, and keep close during the Samhain season.
Bring photographs, small keepsakes, or meaningful pieces connected to the people you would like represented on your altar. Jessie will guide you through creating a space that feels personal to you while sharing ideas for arranging, honoring, and working with your altar at home.
This isn’t about making something perfect. It’s about creating something meaningful.
Please Bring:
- Photographs of the loved ones you wish to honor
- Small pieces of memorabilia or keepsakes that belonged to them or remind you of them
- Anything small and meaningful you would like incorporated into your altar
If a photograph or keepsake is irreplaceable, we recommend bringing a copy or choosing an item you are comfortable handling during a craft workshop.
Additional materials for creating and decorating your altar will be available during the workshop.
You’ll leave with your completed Samhain family altar, ready to bring home and make part of your own seasonal remembrance.
