Join us for an evening of music as we celebrate Samhain, which marks the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or "darker half" of the year.We have an amazing lineup of acts featuring...
Pantheist
Atmospheric doom metal band which has evolved over the years, incorporating funereal, symphonic, proggy and cinematic elements in its sound. A certain non religious spirituality is pervading the band’s aura, lending to it the description ‘church doom’ in the early days.
Pantheïst has revolved around keyboardist, singer and composer Kostas Panagiotou who has built around him a core of creative musicians and has relocated from Belgium after its inception in 2000, first to London (2004) and later to Cardiff ((2019).
Adfeilion
‘Inspired by the Celtic dark age, ADFEILION (‘Ruins’) is an experimental folk metal project from South Wales that mixes aspects of black metal, folk metal and dungeon synth to create a raw and atmospheric live performance.
Adfeilion’s debut album, Hela, explores the fusion of Paganism and Christianity amidst a sonic backdrop of ruined castles, mystical forests and heroic Kings
For fans of Saor, Caladan Brood, God is an Astronaut and Heilung
Catherine Elms
Catherine Elms is a dark pop singer-songwriter with a soft yet powerful voice; introspective and fierce in equal measure. Drawing on the raw, heartfelt emotion of Tori Amos and the brash power of PJ Harvey, Catherine has found an evocative and cathartic style that is all her own.
A self-taught pianist with heavy rock sensibilities, Catherine creates an epic and transcendent sound that explores millennial frustrations with sensitivity and quiet hope. Catherine self-released her debut album, ‘I Have Seen It, I Do Not Fear It’, in November 2022, and promoted the album with a UK tour in spring 2023.
Rosie Fae
Rosie Fae is an up and coming artist who will be singing traditional Norse and Celtic medicine songs
The evening will also feature music from DJ TGIF (Thank God It's Frankie)
Free entry. Music starts 8pm.
