Samhain Big Walk

There are three guided walks to choose from: Cave Hill, Divis & the Black Mountain or Ligoniel Dams. Tickets are free but booking is required as spaces fill up quickly. At the end of the walks, please come along to the Wolfhill Centre in Ligoniel where all three walks will meet for light refreshments.

Info: Arrival and Welcome at Divis Café Barn. 9:30am - guided walk begins. Enjoy a gentle walk through Divis, with stops along the way to explore the symbolism of the season, foraging and history of the land. 12:30pm (approx.) – walk concludes back at Divis Café Barn. You're warmly invited to then join us at The Wolfhill Centre in Ligoniel for light seasonal refreshments and a short talk on the traditions of Old Ireland during Lúnasa and how communities celebrated the turning of the year.
