Samba Intensive series with Alex Courtinho and Jorge Amarelloh

Alex Coutinho, known for his samba technique, resistance training, charisma and inclusivity is one of the most sought after samba professionals in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has been the director of passistas for Paraiso do Tuiuti for the past 10 years. He is also the passista director for Academico do Cubango and the artistic director of Poderosas do samba, an international group of samba dancers.

Jorge Amarelloh, an internationally known professional dancer and professor who has studied many different styles of dance from a young age. He danced for many different samba schools in Rio de Janeiro including União da Ilha do Governador, São Clemente and he has directed for Alegria da Zona Sul. Currently he coordinates the Male dancers for Paraiso do Tuiuti, as well as helping choreograph the passista aula. He is also the king of the bacteria for Encima da Hora samba school in Rio.
