Samba de Sonora featuring Nossa Bossa Nova

($20-$30 tickets + DICE fees | 6:30pm & 8:30pm shows) Two local latin jazz powerhouse groups join forces for one night only! Samba de Sonora is led by vibraphonist Homero Cerón with Danny Brito and Aaron Szabo on percussion. Joining them are members of Nossa Bossa Nova bassist Mike Levy and vocalist Theresa Levy. Nossa Bossa Nova has released seven albums and have been featured on several Putumayo world music collections. Of Italian origin, Theresa is fluent in Portuguese and brings an unmatched authenticity to the music. Come enjoy an evening of cool Brazilian rhythm and melodies at the Century Room!
