Join us for an incredible evening with Naomi Ishiguro and Samantha Shannon as they talk about the fantasy genre, political intrigue and (of course!) dragons with Katherine Webber to mark the release of Naomi’s new series, The Rainshadow Orphans.

Naomi Ishiguro is the author of Common Ground and Escape Routes, The Rainshadow Orphans is the first part of her new captivating trilogy. Blending fantasy, science fiction and Japanese folklore. Leading readers into the richly imagined titular town terrorised by criminal gangs, where three loyal friends seek to avenger the M**der of their beloved ‘aunt’.

Samantha Shannon is the million copy bestselling author of The Bone Season and The Roots of Chaos series. Her work has been translated into twenty-eight languages. Katherine Webber is a bestselling and award-winning author of children’s and young adult books. Her recent YA novels include the internationally bestselling Twin Crowns trilogy, co-written with Catherine Doyle, as well as The Revelry and Only Love Can Break Your Heart. In addition to her Young Adult novels, Katherine also writes younger fiction as Katie Tsang in collaboration with her husband Kevin.
