The Sam Wakeman Quartet, led by Michigan saxophonist Sam Wakeman, is an ensemble dedicated to faithfully reimagining traditional jazz literature, putting a modern spin on the standard language of jazz. The group features drummer Elijah Cosby, bassist Donovan Meeusen, and saxophonist Miles Lekan.
