Salvia Mi Tierra - Ascot Hills Park Nursery Volunteer Day

Join North East Trees (NET) at Ascot Hills Park's native plant nursery to help us propagate and transplant locally sourced native plants and trees from our community's open spaces. All of the invaluable plants the nursery produces will directly support NET-led and community-centered restoration projects throughout the county, but we need help keeping up with their growth! Activities will focus on ensuring all volunteers leave the nursery with a good sense of how to grow and care for native plants and will include:

• How to sow native plant seeds
• Transplanting young native plant seedlings into their appropriate pot sizes
• Watering and keeping with ongoing maintenance of our mature plants

Únase con North East Trees (NET) en el vivero de plantas nativas de Ascot Hills Park para ayudarnos a propagar y trasplantar plantas y árboles nativos de los espacios abiertos de nuestra comunidad. Todas las plantas que produce el vivero apoyarán directamente los proyectos de restauración dirigidos por NET y centrados en la comunidad en todo el condado, ¡pero necesitamos ayuda para mantenernos al día con su crecimiento!
