Salute to Summer
Wed Jun 21 2023 at 05:00 pm to 09:30 pm
Yard and Sea | San Diego, CA
About this Event
Let's gather in community on the longest day of the year to kick the summer off right!! The summer solstice and international yoga day coincide, so we're honoring the start of summer with a traditional yoga experience, followed by partayyy!
One intention is to remind yourself of what you're capable of and to reconnect with your inner fire, so that you may step into summer, and the second half of the year, in a big way--feeling supported by your fellow yogis and empowered to create the life you desire!
The second intention is to build a true sense of community and lasting connections. The yoga will be moderately challenging, but breathing, moving, and sweating in unison with your friends and neighbors is a deeply powerful experience.
The last intention is to have some good, clean, healthy fun!! You know all of those yogis you've practiced next to in classes but have never had the chance to chat and connect with? This event will give you that opportunity.
✺ Ceremonial 108 sun salutations--a traditional way to honor the seasons
✺ Cacao circle
✺ Light drinks
✺ Opportunity to connect with like-minded people
Who this event is for: anyone with some yoga experience OR who is relatively physically fit. While sun salutations are not extremely challenging, there will be a fair amount of up and down (the yoga version of burpees). If you are injured or pregnant, this is probably not the time for this event.
Ticket purchase includes: yoga, cacao, raffle ticket & more!
