Salute The Sample : A Juneteenth Happy Hour @ Nola Seafood

Freedom finally came on June 19, 1865, (Even though the Emancipation Proclamation was made effective in 1863) when some 2,000 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas. The army announced that more than 250,000 enslaved black people in the state, were free by executive decree. This day came to be known as "Juneteenth," by the newly freed people in Texas.

This year "Baltimore Loves Hip Hop" is honoring Juneteenth with a special Happy Hour 4pm-9pm at Nola Seafood & Spirits (36 E Cross St, Baltimore, MD 21230) on Monday 6/19

Internationally Acclaimed DJ WildChild DNA will be spinning a special set where he will play the original song sampled to create some of the Hip Hop and R&B Classics we've grown to Love, as well as the "hit" that was created. We call that "Saluting the Sample". It's going to be Dope!!! You definitely don't wanna miss it
