The S.A.L.T.® (Save A Life Today) Training Workshop is a nationally recognised Level 2 programme designed to equip organisations, professionals and community leaders with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills required to prevent knife crime, manage risk and save lives.
Developed in response to the growing impact of knife crime across the UK, this immersive workshop combines expert instruction, real-world scenarios and hands-on training to ensure participants leave capable of responding effectively in high-risk situations.

⏰ Workshop Schedule
08:30hrs – Arrival & Registration.
08:45hrs – Welcome & Introduction.
09:00hrs – Workshop Commences.
The workshop consists of six structured training modules, each delivered in focused learning blocks:
• 45-minute training sessions.
• 15-minute engagement breaks between modules.
12:00 hrs– 12:30hrs – Lunch (provided).
15:30hrs – Workshop Close.

The S.A.L.T. workshop provides a structured approach to knife crime awareness, prevention and emergency response. Participants gain both theoretical understanding and practical capability through scenario-based learning delivered by experienced former Armed Forces instructors.
This training is suitable for professionals across education, retail, community services, security, youth work and any environment where safety and safeguarding are priorities.
📚 Workshop Modules
Module 1: Understanding Knife Crime
Recognising warning signs, risk factors and the wider impact of knife crime across communities and workplaces.
Module 2: Law and Legislation
Understanding legal responsibilities including the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 and Criminal Justice Act 1988.
Module 3: Conflict Management
Practical de-escalation techniques and safe management of confrontation scenarios.
Module 4: Knife Crime Statistics & Trends
Using current data to assess risk and apply evidence-based prevention strategies.
Module 5: Emergency First Aid & Catastrophic Bleeding
Hands-on lifesaving skills to manage severe injuries until emergency services arrive.
Module 6: Solutions & Community Action
Developing practical actions to implement meaningful change within organisations and communities.
