Location: Marshland's Outdoor Classroom at the MRD Campus of SCDNR
Come join us for a fun and informative day learning all about saltwater fishing! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned angler, this clinic is perfect for anyone looking to improve their skills and knowledge. All bait, fishing equpment and tackle will be provided for the duration of the clinic.
Our expert instructors will cover a variety of beginner friendly topics, including the best gear to use, fishing rigs, and how to properly handle and release fish. You'll also have the opportunity to practice your casting and fishing skills in a hands-on setting.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn from the best and meet other fishing enthusiasts!
Ages 4 and up are welcome to participate. This is free to public but if you are 16 and older, you must have a valid South Carolina saltwater fishing license. We will fish at Demetre Park down the road from the Outdoor Classroom.
Items you may want to bring: snacks, a hat, sunscreen, bugspray, a reusable waterbottle with water in it, and sunglasses.
