Saltaire Swing at Saltaire Festival with Hot Club of Halifax

YardFest Saltaire & Saltaire Festival present an evening of live swing music and dancing at the Caroline Street Social Club.
Featuring live music from Hot Club of Halifax, a Lindy Hop taster class and a swing DJ.
Never tried Lindy Hop? This is your chance. The evening starts with a friendly taster class where you’ll learn the basic 8-count and a few simple moves. No experience needed and no partner required.
Then it’s time to put those moves into practice as Hot Club of Halifax take us into a night of Hot Jazz, Jazz Manouche and Swing. Made up of some of the best jazz and swing musicians in the North of England, they’ll be joined by a swing DJ for a fantastic social dance to the sounds of the 1930s and ’40s.
Come to dance, come to listen, bring your friends or just come along on your own – everyone is welcome.
Lindy Hop class starts at 7.15pm
