Road salt keeps us safe during the winter, but excess amounts threaten streams and wildlife. Join Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy to learn how they track salt pollution and try a practice stream survey.
This community science program is a fun way to explore streams year-round and advocate for smarter salting practices. Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy is starting season five of their Salt Watch survey in partnership with the Izaak Walton League of America.
