Salt Lime Heat Sigh

Beginning with a Taoist face & hand wash to enliven our sensory receptors and drop into the body, this event will entail the collective making of an abundance of pickle for the altar installation, from mountains of salted and sun-dried limes, raw jaggery, dates and chilli.
Working with prompts inspired by a deep listening practice we will sound and sense our way through a process of transformation, pounding, grating, jarring.

Be aware the air will be heady with spices and you may feel things intensely.
The action involves your physical bodily involvement. Please let us know if you have any access needs which may require us to make adjustments to ensure you can participate.
& come with an empty jar for the altar.
To open our series of ceremonial making we will be joined by Sandeep Chandra Ashwath, our collaborator for this session in queering the divine.
