The Tampa Bay Latin Dance Scene has asked... and we are responding.Welcome to SALSURA!
🗓 Date: Sunday, May 10th. Join us for the debut of SALSURA! The Tampa Bay area's newest monthly Sunday event, slated for every 2nd Sunday of the month.
⏰ Time: Lesson at 3pm. | Social dancing right after
💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 Whether you’re a beginner, semi-pro, or pro dancer, this event is all about joining all dancers together for one Sunday a month to an afternoon of none stop dancing with great energy, a relaxed atmosphere and the very best of Salsa, Bachata & Mambo music available.
🎧 We are proud to announce that our resident DJ will be DJ Mambo Tribe out of Orlando, FL. This decision was made with great care because we believe that consistency matters, and great music is crucial for successful event. Along with Mambo Tribe we will have the music of DJ Andrew, another season DJ who has traveled extensively throughout Europe.
🎼 What to expect for the debut: Don't let the name fool you, we selected the name SALSURA, a fusion of two words, but this event will be equal parts Salsa & Bachata. We will allow Mambo Tribe to lead the way based on the crowd and his seasoned experience. Our goal is to have a legitimate PARTY the entire time you're at SALSURA with little to no interruptions so that you can get your money's worth! Picture the Cuban event, "Sunday Dace Matinee" but with Salsa, Bachata & Mambo music. 🤩 🥳 😊
💃🏾 Class: For our debut, we are having Natassia Wilson teach a traditional Bachata class to get you moving. Proof once again that this is not just a Salsa event.
📍The Venue will be the 809 Lounge, and if you haven't been to the 809 Lounge, you're in for a treat. This venue has natural energy for a Sunday afternoon like no other location in Tampa.
The 809 Lounge has the one ingreditnet that unites all Latin people and our dance culture, a full Latin menu and all your favorite drinks. The address is 3710 W. Waters Ave. Tampa, FL.
