Join us for a beginner-friendly Salsa(on2) Workshop in Chico on Sunday, September 22nd! 💃🕺Absolute beginners are welcome and you don't need a partner to join!

The level 1 classes are for absolute beginners and for those looking to brush up on their basics. If you've never taken a dance class before, come to level 1! The level 2 and level 3 classes are designed for dancers who have taken several dance classes in that specific dance style. No partner needed for ANY class.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐚 𝐎𝐧𝟐?

Salsa (on2) is a style of salsa where the break step happens on the second beat of the measure (“on 2”), as opposed to the first beat, as in Salsa (on1). Some dancers feel Salsa on 2 is a more synchronistic way to move to the music, therefore allowing for more freedom of expression and connection between partners.
