Salsa dancing is a lively and rhythmic partner dance that originated from Latin America, blending Afro-Cuban, Puerto Rican, and other Latin musical influences. It is typically danced to salsa music and features quick footwork, turns, and fluid movements. Linear style salsa, also known as “LA style” is characterized by dancers moving in a straight line or “slot,” rather than in circular patterns.
