☀️ SALSA July Monthly Meeting ☀️

We are thrilled to invite you to our next monthly meeting for the Southern Arizona LGBTQIA+ Sports Alliance (SALSA)!
Starting this month, we have an incredible new home for our regular gatherings. We are incredibly proud to officially partner with David Russell and the team at Thirsty Lizard Oasis, who will be hosting our monthly meetings moving forward. David and the Thirsty Lizard crew have been massive supporters of the local community in so many ways, and we couldn’t be happier to gather in such a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space. Come out, grab a bite or a drink, and see what SALSA has in store for the rest of the summer and beyond!
📋 WHAT’S ON THE AGENDA?
We have a lot of exciting momentum to talk about, including recaps of recent milestones and a sneak peek at massive upcoming events:
🔹 Bisbee Pride Reflection: We’ll look back at our booth and parade float—celebrating our big successes and discussing the challenges to help us grow for next year.
🔹 Slapstick Smackdown (Aug 1): Updates on our upcoming collaborative comedy/improv fundraiser show with the Sierra Vista Community Theatre!
🔹 World AIDS Day Planning: It’s time to lay the groundwork! We’re kicking off the initial planning and teamwork for the upcoming Fierce and Fabulous Event.
🔹 Fall Coed Softball: Get ready to hit the dirt! We will be discussing details, registration, and expectations for the upcoming Fall season.

SALSA is community-driven, and we want to hear from you. If you have a specific topic or agenda item you would like added to the meeting, please email it ahead of time to [email protected].
Whether you're a seasoned league player, a volunteer, or just curious about what we do, all are welcome to attend, listen, and share ideas.
