Salsa Manzana is excited to play Latin / Caribbean music at Waterfest in Oshkosh on Thursday July 11 6pm-7pm. ??? Enjoy salsa, mambo, cha cha, bolero, rumba, jazz, etc. ABBA Music (Disco, Mamma Mia!) & The Pocket Kings (R&B, Blues, Funk) will also perform at Leach Amphitheater that night.??? We look forward to seeing Fox Valley Latin Dancers & all the other dancers!
Salsa Manzana ?? is a traditional Latin music ensemble based out of the Fox Cities around Appleton, which is where the Manzana, (or Apple in English) comes from in Salsa Manzana. ?? Started in 2012, Carlos Mendez and Mark Te Tai started the group with Carlos' authentic Puerto Rican heritage and Mark’s long-standing relationship with the local music community. ??Top musicians were brought together from Oshkosh to Green Bay, and Carlos sang the Salsa songs he grew up with in Puerto Rico.???
