Ever imagined yourself on an international stage?
Ever wanted to improve your dancing while having fun?
All dancers completing the audition with a positive attitude will be placed on one of our teams. No experience or partner required.

¡SALSA CALIENTE! travels yearly to the Puerto Rico, New York, Portland & Seattle Salsa Congresses. We have also toured to Panama, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, the Bahamas, France and Italy.
Everyone that auditions with a positive attitude will be offered a place on one of the following teams:
LOCAL STUDENT TEAM- If you have never performed before or have a limited amount of time you are able to commit to, this is the team for you. Learn exciting choreographies to perform at local events with no pressure to perform until you feel ready. Commitment is one hour per week.
TRAINING TEAM- Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. This is the team for you if you are an amateur dancer that has never performed before but are a strong Salsa dancer or if you are new to Salsa, but have a strong dance or performance background. Team may be offered the chance to travel.
TOURING LADIES TEAM- Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. This team takes only the top girls and may be offered the chance to travel. In the past, the group has performed in Puerto Rico, New York, Atlanta & Chicago.
TOURING COUPLES TEAM- Auditioned performance group with rehearsals twice a week plus additional class and social requirements. This team takes only a max of the 3 highest ranking girls and 3 highest ranking guys from our yearly audition plus 2 understudies. In the past, the group’s dancers have performed locally as well as in Italy, Puerto Rico, New York, the Bahamas, Mexico, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Toronto. The team has also competed in the World Salsa Open Championships.
Requirements: A passion for dance, a willingness to learn & work hard, a positive attitude, the ability to work as part of a close group, a strong sense of commitment. No partner or dance experience required!
