We are super excited to announce our next Latin Social Dance on Friday 9th June with ** SPECIAL GUEST DJ VIJAY SALSA**Held at the fantastic venue we use for our weekly classes on Monday nights the Imperial Sports Ground in Brislington.
Everyone over 18 is welcome to our socials, whether you’re a complete beginner just starting out or an experienced dancer we can’t wait to welcome you to the dance floor!
Our doors will open at 6.45pm and we start the evening with a fun crossbody salsa class for beginners at 7pm followed by an Improvers Rueda at 8pm to get you all warmed up.
From approx 8.45pm Vijay will take control of the decks for the first set of the evening to get you up on that dance floor followed by our very own Clare from the Salsa Bristol team will play you out to the end. The evening is yours to enjoy our beautiful wooden dance floor. The music we play isn’t like other socials that you attend as along with traditional and modern salsa, cha cha cha, bachata, salsaton tracks we like to incorporate funky, pop and rnb tracks to keep you wanting to hit that dancefloor time and time again.
PRICE AND VENUE
The cost of the evening is £10 which is cash only at the door.
You will find us on the first floor at the Imperial Sports Ground, West Town Lane, Bristol. BS14 9EA
This fantastic venue has onsite parking which is free, flood lit and covered by cctv.
You will find not one but 2 fully stocked bars to cater to many tastes. You will find one inside our function room as well as on the ground floor when you first enter the leisure centre.
Our next Latin socials will be held on Friday 4th August, 6th October and 8th Dec so get them in your diary!
