About the Series:

Salsa 1B is a focused, 2-class monthly series crafted for dancers who’ve completed Salsa 1A and want to solidify their fundamentals before moving into intermediate. This class bridges the gap between beginner and intermediate salsa, helping students clean up timing, learn how to connect moves into combos, and apply essential lead/follow techniques in social dance.

What You’ll Learn:

✅ Fundamental variations of basic steps

✅ How to transition between moves with control

✅ Timing drills & musicality

✅ Partner connection + practice in mirrored studio

✅ Lead/follow clarity and floor confidence

Who It’s For:

This series is required for any student moving from 1A to Intermediate Salsa. You should be comfortable with:

• Basic steps
• Right turn
• Cross-body lead
• Left turn

🗓️ Every 2nd & 4th Tuesday

🕢 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM (2-hour intensives)

About Your Instructor

Tiffany Vlard is the founder and lead instructor of Bmore Urbana, a Latin dance company based in Baltimore City focused on building community through inclusive, high-quality salsa and bachata instruction.

Originally from Miami, Tiffany grew up surrounded by Latinx culture, music, and movement. She officially began dancing salsa and bachata in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the art, the culture, and the connection it brings. After two years of training and immersing herself in the DMV dance scene, she began teaching in the summer of 2023.

Tiffany currently teaches Salsa On1, as well as urban, sensual, and traditional bachata. She is passionate not just about dance technique, but about creating an open, encouraging space for people to grow in confidence, rhythm, and community. Her classes are grounded in clear instruction, cultural respect, and joy—helping students connect with the music and with each other.
