Salon is a curated and candid panel discussion hosted by Conrad Gargett’s Future Thinking Committee and the Heritage team. The series brings together thought leaders, city shapers and inspired makers to share ideas and perspectives about our built environment.

To celebrate the launch of this year’s Salon series, we are excited to partner with the Australian Heritage Festival to explore the theme, shared stories, and discuss the potential of unlocking our heritage places for the benefit of future generations.

In this Salon, panellists will discuss the potential of unlocking heritage places that share stories of our past and enliven our lives with new uses and programs. The panel will challenge perspectives on balancing the protection and conservation of our cultural heritage for future generations while considering the need to make changes and consider new uses and development in and adjacent to heritage places.
