Salon Human Trafficking Safety Course (April) - hosted by Need Salon

This comprehensive introduction to combating sex trafficking has been developed by Miss Julie’s School of Beauty to equip caring people in the beauty industry to come alongside victims and support them on their road to freedom. This information has been compiled through many hours of research, our combined knowledge of both the beauty industry and sex trafficking, as well as the input of human trafficking experts from a variety of fields. Please consider partnering with us by participating in our training.

This 3-hour course lays a foundational understanding of human/sex trafficking – both from a legal standpoint, and how this type of exploitation presents itself in real life. Training goes on to cover information specific to beauticians and their important role in combating sex trafficking, as well as what salons can do to safely identify and offer support to potential victims. Training materials will include a training booklet, quick reference materials for in-salon use, salon safety certification, and access to additional online resources.
