En avril 2025, la légende malienne signait son grand retour avec "So Kono" (chez Nø Førmat!), une œuvre profondément intime, enregistrée dans sa chambre d’hôtel lors du festival Kyotophonie à Kyoto au Japon. Entouré de ses griots, Salif Keita se livre sur scène comme jamais auparavant, renouant avec ses racines et sa guitare, son instrument compagnon de longue date. Entre reprise de ses classiques et de nouvelles compositions, la "voix d'or de l'Afrique" révèle une émotion pure, reflet d'un destin hors du commun empreint de blessures, d'engagement et de résilience.

Manding music legend Salif Keita presents a unique acoustic quartet formation.
In April 2025, the Malian legend made his big comeback with “So Kono” (on Nø Førmat!), a deeply intimate work recorded in his hotel room during the Kyotophonie festival in Kyoto, Japan. Surrounded by his griots, Salif Keita opens up on stage like never before, reconnecting with his roots and his guitar, his long-time companion.
