Chrysalis Garden will be open Sunday April 28th from 1-4. This will be the last time we are open until the end of May. Remember, we can dig almost anything in our vast natural landscape if we have enough of one species. We do have pollinators: White milkweed, Coreopsis, Tall Phlox, Liatris (blazing star), foam flower, red bee balm, Lizard's Tail and wild ginger, and vines such as red trumpet honeysuckle, and yellow and orange trumpet vine. We also have nonnatives such as lamb's ear, which adds a nice contrast to the landscape. None of these are invasive. OH, and we have tables full of tropical and succulent plants. Nothing over $25. The most pricey item is the paw paw, and some other trees..--We do have one 5' hickory. My companion Planter, Steve and I will be outside working to clean up our renovation mess, so if you have questions about the plants, please google them. We don't even make money on these sales as all profits go to the Land Trust of North Alabama.
