Saints of Circumstance trigger a wellspring of memories from the many times they have graced the stage here at the Crazy Horse. They transport us to blissful moments with the dance floor bouncing until the wee hours. The funky groove of “Ain’t No Bread in the Breadbox” from that one night after Jerry Bash still reverberates in the ethers. If the songs and the vibe of the Jerry Garcia Band are dear to your heart, you can't help but be enchanted by the way this band channels them with tender emotion. Led by guitarist/vocalist Todd Gardner, every note and every lyric are delivered with the utmost passion and thoughtful intention. Members of the Saints have voyaged into the great beyond along with members of Phil Lesh and Friends, Poor Man's Whiskey, Stu Allen and Mars Hotel, Achilles Wheel and many more. On this night they are joined by renowned keyboard wild man – Jesse Jennings (formerly of The Higgs). Jesse brings the heat unlike any other, adding innovative electro flair to take these songs in fresh directions. Melvin Seals or Merl Saunders would most certainly approve.
