Saint Louis Urban Area Operational Readiness Summit
About this Event
The St Louis Area Regional Response System (STARRS) is pleased to invite you to join us for the 2026 Saint Louis Urban Area Operational Readiness Summit! The Summit will bring together new and existing regional partners to network, celebrate regional successes, share best practices, and build awareness of the interconnected roles and responsibilities that support regional planning, preparedness, and security in the Urban Area. Building these relationships prior to an incident and establishing a mutual understanding of our roles is essential to ensure effective prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery from acts of terrorism and other threats.
The first day, learn from regional experts on various topics from exercise design to cybersecurity to the role of weather in disaster response. We will also hear introductions and highlights from each STARRS subcommittee, celebrating successes and lessons learned through recent UASI projects. A tabletop exercise on August 4th will round out the summit and offer attendees the opportunity to coordinate and put into practice some of the lessons learned from the sessions on August 3rd.
