All welcome at Naval Point for our October Little Ship Club event. Bar and kitchen open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm.Camilla and Santeri cast off from Helsinki, Finland, with their boat Sipi in 2022. The journey has been fuelled by a desire for adventure - fishing and diving some of the more remote corners of the world.
They’ve sailed ~20 000 nautical miles, from the Baltic Sea, down the European Atlantic coast, over the Atlantic, up the Caribbean, through the Panama canal and across the Pacific, before reaching New Zealand and Lyttelton.
They will talk about their journey so far. Preparing the boat and casting off, life at sea with a shorthanded crew, fishing from a sailboat and a little bit about sailing in the Baltic Sea.
