Celebration of Lights Fireworks aboard the Bottlenose Schooner!Experience an extraordinary evening on July 20th aboard the magnificent 95ft wooden schooner, the Bottlenose, for the off-shore Honda Celebration of Lights Fireworks! Accompanied by the sailing vessel Retage, a 44’ Beneteau, this event promises a night to remember.
This is a Sunset & Fireworks watching party happening during the 2024 Honda Celebration of Light which is an annual musical fireworks competition in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Experience the magic of the fireworks like never before, with a panoramic view from the comfort of our elegant sailboats. Say goodbye to crowded beaches and hello to a lively and exclusive front-seat view on the water! Stay onboard for the fireworks afterparty and dance the night away.
This year, Portugal, Malaysia and the United Kingdom will be part of the competition. Catch the world-class pyrotechnics from the Bottlenose Schooner, followed by an afterparty on deck. The experience includes a complimentary Portuguese-style buffet, in theme with the first country exhibiting their fireworks extravaganza. Beverages available on board.

Time: 4:00PM-2:00AM
Check In & Pickup Time: 4:00 PM-6:00PM
Festivities Begin: 6:30PM
Pickup Location: Vanier Boat Launch
Dropoff Time and Location: Boat shuttle starts departing at 11:30PM until close, every 30 minutes to Vanier Boat Launch. Last ride at 2AM goes to the Granville Island Public Market Dock aboard the SV Retage.
Activities Before the Fireworks:
Portuguese Style Buffet: Enjoy a complimentary mouthwatering buffet featuring dishes from Portugal, the country exhibiting the fireworks.
Body Painting Artist: Get creative and add some flair with complimentary personalized neon body paint.
DJs: Dance to melodic beats on our boat deck dance floor.
Sea Fun: Cool down with floaties and splash in the sea.
Beverages: Available on board.
Good Vibes: Soak in the lively atmosphere and make lasting memories.
Fireworks Show: 10:00PM-10:30PM
Afterparty: The fun doesn't end with the fireworks! Stay on board for an epic afterparty with more music, dancing, and good times. The afterparty begins after the fireworks and lasts till 2:00AM.

What to bring?
For your comfort, we recommend windbreaker jackets, sweaters, long pants, and closed-toe shoes be worn. You may bring your floaties or swimwear if you choose to take a dip in the sea. Note that there will be minimal supervision and as such we recommend you to take necessary precautions when swimming. Life jackets are available upon request. Important Information:
This is a 19+ event. IDs will be checked before boarding the shuttle boat.
Tickets are non-refundable.
