🇫🇷 Saideira Colectivo est un nouveau collectif de choro basé à Bruxelles. Il propose un mélange de morceaux entraînants et mélancoliques issus de cette riche tradition instrumentale brésilienne. La “saideira” est la “dernière chanson avant de partir” jouée à la fin de chaque rassemblement de choro (roda). En général, on joue au moins cinq saideiras avant de rentrer chez soi.
Le choro est un mouvement musical et une forme d'expression artistique enracinés dans le creuset culturel du Rio de Janeiro du 19e siècle. Cette musique est toujours bien vivante et s’est largement répandue au-delà des frontières du Brésil. Le choro se caractérise par l’interaction ludique entre les musiciens, et intègre une variété de rythmes tels que le maxixe, le tango brasileiro, la samba, la valse, etc.

Saideira colectivo is a new choro collective based in Brussels. They will bring a mix of upbeat and melancholic songs from this rich Brazilian instrumental tradition. The “saideira” is the “last song for the road” that is played at every choro gathering (roda), but typically we would play at least 5 saideiras before going home.
Choro is a music movement and artistic expression that is rooted in the cultural melting pot of 19th century Rio de Janeiro. Saideira Colectivo is een nieuw choro-collectief gevestigd in Brussel. Ze brengen een mix van opzwepende en melancholische nummers uit deze rijke Braziliaanse instrumentale traditie. De “saideira” is het allerlaatste nummer dat op elk choro-bijeenkomst (roda) wordt gespeeld, maar meestal spelen we minstens vijf saideiras voordat we naar huis gaan.
Choro is een muzikale stroming en artistieke expressie die zijn wortels heeft in de culturele smeltkroes van het 19e-eeuwse Rio de Janeiro. De muziek leeft nog steeds volop en heeft zich ver buiten de grenzen van Brazilië verspreid. Choro wordt gekenmerkt door het speelse samenspel tussen de muzikanten en omvat een verscheidenheid aan ritmes zoals maxixe, tango brasileiro, samba, wals, enz.
