SAHRA Meeting Invite for October

We are excited to return to in person meetings. This event includes lunch and an educational workshop. In this workshop you will learn practical steps on how to implement DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) best practices within your organization's culture. Further, you will learn how to utilize the data on accessibility to construct a framework for implementation and what metrics to install for measuring the impact the framework entails.

Bio:

Shaun is a DEIA professional experienced in communications, public speaking, and curriculum and framework development. The goal of Shaun's work is to create diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible environments by conducting cultural audits, cultivating strategy, and facilitating trainings. Shaun also coaches senior leaders with the same goal of identifying the gaps within their organization that contribute to perpetuating the disparities and inequities that uphold systemic racism and a system that promotes patriarchy. Shaun has an interest in revamping all systems with a focus on organizational structure (equity, inclusivity, and accessibility), environmental justice/public health, and criminal justice reform. Lunch & Networking are from 11:00 - 11:30 am. The workshop begins shortly after announcements at 11:30 am.

The cost of admission, which includes lunch is $25 for SAHRA members and $30 for non-members.
