FREE Death Cafe in Northside on the third Tuesday of every month beginning January 2024, hosted by Sages of Grief.A Death Café, is a safe, unstructured, and welcoming environment where honest conversations about end-of-life issues are the norm. Conversations might include coming to terms with one's own mortality, how to best support others at the time of death, or even how to cope in the event a loved one has died. The whole point is to create a community where talking more openly about the inevitability of death can help reduce the anxiety and mystification that surrounds it.
The group will be meeting at its regular location inside the Heart of Northside building located at 4222 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45223 (formerly the Northside Presbyterian church).
Please park in the back, and enter either via the Handi-elevator (take it to “S” and follow the signs) or via the door along Hobart Alley and follow the signs.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided by Dodds Memorials, celebrating 160 years of service creating lasting visions of love.
