Imbolc is celebrated from sundown on February 1 to sundown on February 2nd. The returning light has noticeably lengthened the days and the first stirrings of the potential life after a period of darkness and departure. This is one of the sabbats that revolve around fire, as a source of warmth, renewal and purification. Imbolc is also associated with the gentle Goddess Brigid (meaning "bright flame").
All are welcome to attend. Feel free to stay after the ritual for the potluck! We will also have a raffle ($1/entry).
