Welcome to the Safi Life First Benefit Gala & Silent Auction! Join us for an afternoon to meet Safi and to help give vulnerable women in Rwanda a second chance.

Safi Mukundwa, co-founder of Safi Life, lost her family in the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. As a survivor, she promised herself she’d find a way to help women in the aftermath of the brutality.Many years ago, while working on her thesis in Rwanda, Devon Ogden met Safi. The two formed a lasting friendship and together created Safi Life. The non-profit they created is dedicated to female advancement in Africa through university scholarships, grants and trade school education.
We invite you to help us raise funds to build a permanent trade school in Kigali and provide life-changing scholarships for vulnerable women.
