Mental health is raw and real, and sometimes it can be hard to know how to talk about it. LivingWorks safeTALK is a practical, four-hour workshop that gives you the confidence and skills to recognise when someone may be struggling and to respond in a safe, supportive way.
During the training, you will learn how to:
(1) Talk about suicide openly and safely
(2) Recognise the signs someone may be having suicidal thoughts
(3) Practice supportive conversations
(4) Connect people with life-saving intervention resources
The training is open to everyone in the community, regardless of your role or experience. You never know when you might need to be the connection that keeps someone safe.
