Join the collaboration of Youth Voices Matter, Uplift Irondequoit, and ROCovery Fitness for this FREE and interactive Safe Zone Workshop! Participants of our Safe Zone workshop will be provided with a better understanding of LGBTQ+ identities, how to embody the principles of being a Safe Zone in their everyday lives, first-hand knowledge of LGBTQ+ experiences, clear and ready-to-utilize tools to provide a safe and affirmative space to marginalized communities and a space to ask any questions.
This workshop can benefit anyone because all humans have a gender identity! Folks who work with youth, young adults, and families will get priority in registering.
