S.A.F.E. Public Safety Day

The Sensory Awareness Family Event (S.A.F.E.) is designed to create an inclusive environment that encourages meaningful connections between the Gilbert Police Department and Gilbert Fire & Rescue, ensuring everyone feels welcome and comfortable to join in on the fun.

Join us for hands-on experiences, including:

• A ride-along in a fire truck
• A simulated police traffic stop
• An up-close look at police and fire gear

The event will take place at Gilbert’s Public Safety Training Facility. The parking lot is fully accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers. While some vendors or activities may be harder to access, we’ll do our best to provide accommodations. If you need assistance, please reach out to an event volunteer.

Free parking is available at the Training Facility and at the EVIT Power Campus, located at the southeast corner of Power Road and Verona Avenue, just north of the facility.
