Safe Passage Detroit
Join us for our upcoming Community Brainstorm & Listening session on Sunday, August 24 in Detroit.
This is a community event open to all who are ready to discuss the safety of our children in our schools and neighborhoods. On top of that, this is a sacred space for us to come together around movement, music, and food.
All ages are welcome to join the brainstorm and the listening session to share their stories: how has student safety, or a lack thereof, impacted you and your child(ren)’s well-being?
Together, we can rewrite what it means for our children to be safe.
We are The Proponents of Change, a group dedicated to putting the “neighbor” back in “neighborhood”. Through centering the well-being of our community, we strive to protect our children, heal our bodies, and unite as a collective. We intend on achieving this by honoring the safety of our children by engaging in movement, music, sacred spaces, and promoting health/wellbeing. We aspire to create a strong community in which we can call our neighbors family!
